I'm looking at the RE BB and it comes with shocks.... just wondering if they are horrible or not... still leaning toward Bilsteins.

My sister's zj has a 2"re bb. I'm not sure if the shocks are the same but they seem pretty good on the street. Can't vouch for off-road though cuz I'm always in my jeep haha

Haven't looked at them but i guess they are white bodies? If so, go bilsteins!

you can move the front mount down some, but no the rear. If you do any offroading the rear will need to be lengthened at 3.5" and at that point i recommend you just extend the front line also and leave the mount in place.

I can put a ford 8.8 in the rear of my jeep but what else can I put in the front that is kinda cheap to get to run 37's? I do drive the jeep on the road also if that may matter.

I'm trying to find that sweet spot where I can hopefully avoid vibes and moving brake lines but getting 2-3" of lift.

That's why I want to stay away from RE...their lifts go higher than what they say.

the Dana 30 is a good axle - if you upgrade the shafts and the ujoints it'll hold up pretty well.

I wonder what will happen to it if you ever have to backup out/over/through of something.

I've been told so many things I've been told not to put 37's on the d30 not even if you upgrade the shafts and ive been told you could so I'm just confused on exactly what to do. I'm just looking for something that I know that I can rely on being my part time dd and some off roading but nothing serious.

D60 front and a D135 rear. If you can fit them, you're set for life.

If its nothing serious why do you need 37" tires ?
