Default Lift kit with coil spacers?

hello all, I was just curious. Is it possible to run a rough country 6.5' lift (with all of the other requirements) with coil spacers/shackle kit? Something like this? : http://www.ebay.com/itm/99-04-Jeep-Grand-Cherokee-WJ-lift-kit-BB-Budget-Boost-2-spring-spacers-/390611076965?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5af23c0765&vxp=mtr
or this? :http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jeep-Cherokee-XJ-2-Front-2-Rear-Lift-Kit-1984-2001-/250861499311?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3ACherokee&hash=item3a6882b3af&vxp=mtr

The question should be. Can I or should I.

Im in no way shape or form an expert and have mild lifting experience. Im sure you could get away with next to stock items but I wouldnt drove it on the street.
At 5.5 lift I would plan on

Extended lower control arms and uppers though ive seen just lowers work.

Lower control arm drop brackets.

Or just long arms and be done with it but sounds like your on a budget

Drop pitman arm

Adjustable track bar *if you do run stock I BELIEVE it will shift your axle towards the driver side*

T case drop *possible a sye*

If not a sye than a extended drive line.

Longer shocks

I think there are a few items im missing its 3am and im fighting to stay awake at work.

My question to you is why do you want to go 5.5? Ive done loads of research for my newest build and have had jeeps ranging from budget 2" lifts to monster 6" long arm lifts. Pm me what your looking to do with your jeep I may be able to share what ive been researching and might be able to save you a few head acks. Some cash. And probably build a safer rig.

You need an adjustable track bar for a 5.5 inch lift. If you don't get one, you will never center your axle, and you be putting the tie rod end on the stock track bar at a really steep angle. It's a really important part of your suspension. I recommend either a rubicon express or iron rock offroad double shear track bar and bracket.you can use your stock steering if you aren't running big tires, but with a 33x12.5 or larger tire my opinion is that at least the tie rod should be replaced.
For a 5.5 inch lift, you will almost certainly need a slip yoke eliminator, an extended cv drive shaft, and degree shims for your rear axle.
You will also need new upper and lower control arms, drop brackets will make the ride a lot smoother and increase articulation, but for the price of Lcas Ucas and drop brackets, you could almost buy long arms. Longer shocks, longer brake lines, new springs(obviously), and new u bolts.

i was told the ones going into the TCase need to be longer by one person. still looking for a second opinion

I've had to overcome many obstacles to get my SYE/CV drive-shaft installed but I can't think of a single good reason to even have put it on in the first place. Risk of stock slip yoke falling out? Nope, almost completely engaged. Vibrations? Nope, none. Stock slip yoke binding? Nope. Anything else to justify it? I feel like I wasted my time/money replacing something that wasn't broken just to be cool.

Your new cv driveshaft is a little stronger than the hollow tube you had there before. Plus if you break it or a joint you have a spare shaft in front so you can still get home. Peace of mind is what you were working for.

Im running re 3.5 leafs with shackles and recently did some work in the rear end.I noticed i have a broken leaf in the ds pack 2nd from the bottom. My question is how hard is it to split the pack to replace it and can it be done without removing the pack from the jeep? The break is just rear of the center pin. If more info is needed let me know, its my dd for now till i get plates on my beater truck. thanks
