Yea I'm definitely not going hack and tap.... Haha.... I didn't look at advance adapters , did they offer any options for driveshaft? I don't remember and I'm on my phone now... I know a lotttt of people used Tom woods on here... Is there any danger in getting a front driveshaft and new ujoints to save a few bucks?

So I got a question guys. Found out a guy I work with has a np231hd transfer case. With a slip yoke built in already. It was off a early 90's wrangler tho. He said he had just installed it then totaled the jeep. So it's been sitting. Still like new he says. My question is tho, is if I bought, would the gearing be different since it was off a wrangler? Would it work for me on my 01xj? I have the standard np231. I had just bought a rugged ridge sye kit and custom Adams drive shaft. The kicker is that he only wants $100! So if it won't work for me I'd buy it and sell it anyways lol.

I plan on lifting soon but I need new tires now. I was thinking of grabbing a set of 31's and getting a set of axles, is 4.10 the gears im gonna need? I'm at stock height but plan of cutting fenders. So having room isn't the issue
