pep boys sell long shackles that would help ,i run 2.5 inch blocks with no probs im old school also dont have a prob with using blocks

Default front end question

so i bought my jeep and was told it had a 4.5" lift, but with a broken leaf spring, i ordered 4.5" leafs that made me realize the front end is not legit, bout 3 inch difference, it has procomp lower control arms and no spacer, will i be ok to buy 4.5" springs or will i need to get a adjustable track bar, extended swaybar links, or can i get drop shackles for the control arms..i guess my biggest concern is the geometry of the steering and whether the front driveshaft will be compensated, any thoughts or am i better off getting 2 inch spring spacers and just sandbagging the rear to make it level.
any thoughts would be much appreciated.
thanks

I want to get a 4.5" lift, just wondering, should I swap out my axles or are the D30 Low-Pinion and D35C good enough? I only do mild offroading, plan to run 32" tires... any help is appreciated.

the LP D30 will probably hold up just fine but the D35C I wouldn't trust beyond 31s

Can someone recommend me some decent 2.5" or 3" rear leafs por favor? All I have found for full packs is Skyjacker and Procomp, and from what I remember of my K5 days everything everyone had to say about those two was that choosing between Skyjacker and Procomp is like choosing between eating horse **** or cow ****.

How much money do you have to spend? That is the key question that needs to be asked.

I'm confused as to what your question is.

I think that 6.5" of lift is too much for 35s if you plan on crawling it, I'd aim more for the 5" range if you can.

Personally my goal is ~4" of lift and 37s on full-widths but I have no problem hacking up my unibody to do so.

Pro Comp makes some pretty good stuff, or used to. Back when I had my 94 I bought a 3" add-a-leaf. It came with the add-a-leaf, blocks, front 3" coils, drop pitman arm, tc drop, and lower control arms. Guess how much I paid for it? $200.

An Add-a-leaf is pretty much the ****tiest way to lift a vehicle that has leaf springs with the exception of massive blocks.

Combine both blocks and an AAL in a lift and you're batting 1k for doing it wrong.

IMO the best leaf springs on the market without getting deavers are old man EMU or rock crawler.
