Just installed rough country 3.5 rear leafs, hd offroad relocation kit and iro adjustable shackles. The shackles have like a 40/45 degree angle on them but the leaf is flat after just a couple of weeks and is sitting at least a 1.5/2 inchs lower then my 4.5 coils in the front! What should I do to get the rear up, it flexs like crazy but I'm looking for more lift level now! I do have a extra 200/250lbs of speaker box and subwoofers in the rear but there in to stay so what should I do thanks?

Move the shackle back a few holes to lift the rear end up. Sounds like your leaf pack is ****

Hey everyone, new to jeeps here. The leafs on my 98 xj are looking pretty bad, so I'm thinking of replacing them with the 2" OME leafs with new shocks, and 2" coil spacers in the front.
My question is, do I need new shocks for the front with the 2" spacers, plus what would be a decent company to go with for shocks? It's my DD, and I'd like to hit the trails every once in a while, nothing too crazy though.

Anything else (LCA's, adj. track bar, etc.) you guys think I might need with a 2" lift?

Thanks

With a 2" lift you can use stock shocks.

Okay. I'm still debating if I should do that, or just go for a full 3" kit from RC or Rusty's. It'll be around the same price (400~500) but I dont want issues when I drive on the road, because I'll be doing a lot of highway driving this summer as well.

Drive it stock this summer and keep saving for a better lift. Then buy around Black Friday from a vendor and get some great pricing on a Good lift.

Well I'm not too worried about the money, I just don't wanna drop a grand on a lift that honesty will never really see any hardcore crawling. Lots of logging roads around where I am though. I'm just wondering because I want to replace the rear leafs no matter what, and thought I might as well get a bit of a lift while I'm at it.

Any major issues (mileage, highway driveability, drivetrain vibes) that come with a 3" lift kit?

I wouldn't give either of those companies a dime, but many disagree with me. I suggest you look at Zone or Iron Rock Offroad for a solid budget-friendly kit.

Mileage will have more to do with the weight of the wheels and tires you install, but it will be affected a bit by the lift, regardless. Driveability isn't a big deal with a 3" lift, as many people daily drive theirs at higher lifts than that. There is a chance you may need an SYE, but it isn't usually needed at 3". That depends on the Jeep, though, and you won't know for sure until you're lifted.

Will a JKS adjustable track bar for a Jk fit a XJ?

http://www.quadratec.com/products/16007_003_07.htm

That one. Its on CL for $125. Was thinking about getting it for when I lift my DD. It'll get an OME kit next year.

If it's the right length and bushing width

Have the seller measure the length eye to eye and the width of the bushings.

You're going to need a different frame side bracket.
