Haha nice man, I may try plasti dip too, I love that stuff and have become very good with it, but I feel bedliner is probably the better option

I run about 33psi on my 31's. You'll want to do less than what the factory reccommends because you are running larger than stock size tires. There is a scientific law somewhere that explains it mathematically. Boyles law? I dunno...

Manufacturer's recommended tire pressure is based on the amount of air you need. To get X amount of air in a small tire requires high psi. To put the same amount in a larger tire doesn't build as much pressure due to the larger volume.

That works, thanks! Ideally there's no set number when using larger tires, you'll want to use whatever psi you'll need to get an even wear pattern.

Put chalk on your tread (all 4 tires) and go for a short, straight line drive. Get out and check where the chalk is wearing off. If its gone in the middle and still there on the outside, reduce psi. If worn on outside and still in the middle, add psi. When it wears perfectly you have the right psi.

Keep in mind each tire might require a slightly different pressure (1 or 2 psi) to wear even. This is because tires are not exactly the same, they range within whatever tolerance they're made to. Also, this psi can change as the tire wears.

Americas Tire put mine at 35. I currently run them at 30 which I feel is still a little too high.

Is there a backwards way to install shackles?

Mine look just like this: http://www.cherokeetalk.com/forum/f6...le-install-76/

Just wondering if they should go the other way.

I put the flat side facing the rear so it doesn't hit the main leaf when compressed.

Right, thats how mine are now, i was looking at them the other day and it looks like they have been hitting on the rear bumper nuts welded to the body so i was wondering.
