They're phenomenal. I love mine. No problems on rocks, mud, wet or dry pavements, or snow. I've never seen anyone sell theirs except to get a larger tire size.

so i just lifted my 99 cherokee 3 inches. i had a few vibrations around 40 and 60 mph so i dropped the transfer case 1 inch. now when i go to put the jeep in 4x4 i get this awful grinding sound as if its not quite in 4x4. if i go back and forth between N, 2x4, and 4x4 i can get it to stay in 4x4 properly but it takes a while. any ideas on how to fix this?

also the part time light flashes quickly as if the button that activates it is just off from being pressed.

Sounds like your transfer case shifter linkage needs to be adjusted. I believe the light is activated by vacuum (not by button), which would indicate the linkage is slightly off.

4hi or 4lo?

you need to be stopped (or rolling every so slowly) with the trans in nuetral to switch to 4lo. Or you will hear grinding.

Just wanted to stop in and thank everyone in this thread for all the help and advice offered over the last month or two. I installed my lift over the last couple days. Had a couple hiccups (detailed in my build thread) and lost some blood (also: build thread) but here she is, a mixed brand lift kit with 4.5" lift front 4" lift rear on 32x10.5 (265/75R16).

Thanks again everyone!

I just purchased a 4.5" RE superflex lift for my ZJ I was going to run 32x11.5 tires, but now I'm thinking of getting the Bushwhacker cut out fender flairs and doing the trimming per its instructions. Should I get the flares first and run a bigger tire, if so what size tire can I run with this set up? Thanks in advance.

ok so im going through my steering system and trying to do everything i can to get it as good as possible. I have a IRO double sheer track bar and I know that the chassis side bracket was built to give .75 inch drop over stock. I am still running a stock pitman arm. the Question I have is do you think i would benefit from a 1" drop pitman arm to get the angles a lil closer. .25 off is better than .75 I would imagine. My bump steer isn't bad But I do feel it how ever so minor if I'm going 50 or so and hit a big bump. Would it be worth it? Is less than an inch off close enough to call it good?
