We were just killing time and I decided to drive back there and look for a place to flecks, and luckily I found that.

Got a question for suspension smarties. I have the rough country 3 inch kit and want to go to 4.5 with shackles and new coils. I bought the kit with the RC LCA's. Everywhere online I see the same LCAs advertised for 3-4.5 inches of lift, just not the RC brand. I've noticed my tires are too far forward in the wheel well (also affecting my castor angle with the stock uppers). So my question is, if I go to 4.5 inches on the RC 3" kit lca's, will it be drivable onroad? Just to hold me over until I purchase a long arm upgrade kit. (I already have an aftermarket extended tracbar for 3-5 inches of lift so no need to point out any of my steering parts)

Yes you'll be fine with those LCA's. you will also need new brake lines, shocks, sway bar links and possibly driveline modifications.

Just get a 2 inch spacer and shackle and roll with it, any brand will be fine. Just shop for the cheapest.

Thanks!. I have new steel braided lines, and jks adjustable sway bar links.
and a Tcase drop from when I put the 3" kit in. Then I'll save up for an SYE kit from advanced adapters.

I've got a 89 xj, bought it as a toy so fenders have been trimmed, currently have 31/10.50's with plenty of room. Not looking for a big lift or any lift for that matter but more travel. Not worried about highway ride, just want a fun off road vehicle. Any suggestions?

Xjs magic numbers are 3" lift on 31s, thats the recipe for all around goodness.
