Well here's my dilemma, i want all new everything. it's cheeper to get the 4.5 with new trackbar, upper CA's and front brake lines, than it is to get the 3.5 and add the 3^^^.
Do i do it and just wait it out for 6 months before i get new tires?

Your aware that you will get more than 4.5" out of that lift right? Mine has settled to 4.5" front and 5" rear. With 4.5 you can expect 5.5" all around. When I lifted mine I added a RE trackbar and extened front breaklines off a wrongler.

I drove my jeep around like that for a few months till I had the money. Sold the old rims and tires on craigslist for $200. If you cant afford it you cant afford it ya know. I wasnt crazy about the look with small tires but I didnt have any other choice because it is my dd.

Yea, i was looking at the 3.5. I wanted to get it because i didnt want to get a sye. I decided to get it tho, from Iron Rock Off Road for 230. And i was thinking, might as well get a bigger lift too, with new everything. Haha i know that RE is Underrated. What do you think, Should I sell my stockies that i've painted with brand new toyo A/T's (235)

I Have a 94 XJ, 4.0, Auto and I used the RE 3.5" Super Ride kit w/full leaf packs and a 1" spacer in the front because I new the front was going to settle. When it did settle I had a level 4.5"/4.75" lift. I had to do an SYE kit & rear shaft. That was it. TC drop wouldn't work. I'm running 33x10.50x15 BFG KM2s. Seams to be a perfect combo. Good Luck

So long as everything is solid, and in good condition it would probably be fine

I have a 3-ish inch lift, and did my front with a 2" puck and ZJ V-8 springs. The ride is fine on the highway, 90% of roads, and off road.
The problem is PA sucks at fixing roads, and the 3 miles to and from my house when I am going to work sucks. The road is horrible and it shakes the crap out of the jeep. I am looking to go to a softer spring, and since it looks like many new lift springs are reasonably priced, I am going to just go with a full spring.
The question I have is about spring rate. I was doing some searching on the site and found a whole bunch of info about the rates of different coils. I read the ZJ coils I have now are over 200lbs/inch and stock XJ ones are around 147.
The lift coils seem to vary in rate. Many are around 150, as well as a few that are up near 180. I have a pretty heavy brush guard, and am going to upgrade to a bumper over the next year. I dont drive a solid axle cadilac, and am not looking for a cushy ride. I just dont want to rattle my teeth.
I was wondering what you guys run for coils and how they ride. Will my bumper (weight) affect the lift height??

I'll be ordering a 3 inch RC lift (mostly because of the 10 percent off and free shipping) and I'd like to know which would be better.
The entry level here http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_xj_3.html
and the step up here http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_xj_3x.html
The entry level doesn't come with LCA's or a sway bar drop. Would I even need these? What would be the benefits of having them?
Thanks
