Well here's a quick shot of the front. I'm just about done the front now and if I can get it in the garage with enough room I might keep wrenching on it for a bit and start the rear.

Attachment 179538

It'll do for now.
Just dont do any night driving with the front up high and the back low.. Your headlights will be pointing too far up and it'll hinder your vision. The back up high is fine usually, as you can just turn on the brights to help raise the light up if you need it.

Just my recommendation.

Thanks guys I drove it out of garage very slowly now I'm going to back it in and do the rear. Any pointers for the rear leafs? I am doing the add a leaf. I heard you can just drop one side but I'd rather remove the whole leaf pack.

I'd do it with the packs on the jeep, the frame side leaf spring bolts can be a HUGE pita.

Take off the sway bar and u bolts, clamp the pack together with some c clamps, cut or unbolt the center pin, and clips. Loosen the c clamps put in the add a leaf RE clamp the pack install the new center pin and clips and bolt the axle back in.

Awesome sounds like a plan giving it a go now. So this way I won't have to touch either side of the leaf pack mount correct? Thanks big time man

Well I'm screwed already again. The lower shock nut sheared off so I don't know how ill mount the bottom end. I don't have a welder to weld threads on or anything and the top bolts didn't shear but they won't turn down anymore. I'm trying to pry down while spinning them but they aren't coming...

For the bottom, you could cut it off, drill a hole, and run a bolt thru it, use some washers.

For the top, if its, just spinning, you may have broke the "nut" inside there. Might have to cut that out.

Ok . If the nuts broken shouldn't I be able to yank them out or down?

Not if its still attached. You'd need to hae something holding the nut, then turn the bolt.

Cut the bolts up top, and fish new ones through. Do what Diesel said for the bottom.

Not even close. I love my MTZs - GREAT road manners, especially in the wet, and awesome offroad also. They're wearing great so far.

Brother-in-law has the Nitto's - <20k and they're shot.
