Default aftermarket throttlebody...which year?

well i was looking at ebay for a 62mm TB, but they got them for 91-95 and 96-04...my xj is a 95, but im putting on a 99+ intake manifold. so im usure if i should still get the 91-95, or should i get the 96+?

If you have a 95, the MAP sensor is mounted on the firewall...so no matter what intake you run....you will be using the MAP on the firewall, so order one for a 95.

If you plan on getting a newer XJ in the future...order one for the 96 or newer and just plug the port on the side with a vacuum cap. That way if you sell yours, you can put the TB on a newer XJ some day.
