So my two cents, I put a mega squirt ms3x on my renix Cherokee, I did it cause I was sick of French ****. I had a very mild comp cam, otherwise stock, I took it to a dyno, we had put full sequential injection, and coil on plug setup, nightmarish job with wiring and tuning from scratch. The job was totally worth it,I fully understand my system, have a modern ecu, full control and a onboard map sensor that will read 21 psi. I am going to put comps most aggressive cam on,a 99 intake and a 75 mm vortec throttle on in the next couple of weeks, later we'll put the m90 on that is in my buddys garage. The dyno was somewhat disappointing, the torque was good, 200 ft lbs to the wheels starting at 1500 and staying there throughout, hp was 170 around 4200.

Right, so I also have bigger injectors and am bored .030", it was a chassis dyno at the dyno labs in Atlanta, the transmission is an ax15, and I'm 4x4 with the stock '88 transfer case and dana 35/30 situation, we are trying to get to the best naturally aspirated numbers out there for a non stroker and then bump 15-16 psi, we'll see if the stock rods and pistons can make 400 hp
Those are some good numbers. Need to port and big valve the head.
They use a DynoJet Dyno which usually reads about 10% higher than others like Mustang dynos, and your manual trans has less parasitic loss compared to a AW4 by about 5%.

I want to stay away from custom machine work, right now I could start over with my engine ( say I melt a piston) and I could do it for less than a grand, this way I won't be afraid to push the boost, my goal is 400 ftlbs to the wheels minimum.
With stock head gasket and head bolts on 160k engine, we popped a head gasket at 12.5 pounds boost. Oops. Now with new MLS gasket, new bolts and ported big valve head and even faster. Will dyno soon.

Update: I have the '99 intake manifold and throttle body installed, but didn't do the vortec throttle due to machining difficulties, I am using 30 lbs/hr injectors, the .496"/.512" comp cam, and a .041" MLS gasket. Dyno coming soon, feels quite fast on the butt dyno.
