Default Aftermarket Axles kits for 8.25 29 spline

Eventually when I have enough money saved up again im going to put a Aussie or Spartan locker in my 8.25. While I had it apart I thought about upgrading the rear axles as well, since ive broken enough of them in my TJ I figured it would be the smart thing to do.
Ive looked around on the web without alot of luck and even talked to Quadratec. The only thing they sell would be an Alloy axle upgrade, single axle, no studs or anything.
Does anyone know where I can get a whole kit, both chromalloy axles, studs, seals, etc... And any idea of how much they run.

Thanks
Greg

No one sells a lot that I am aware of. Buy the shafts, and pick up the misc parts from the local auto part store. Or call one of the suppliers and ask for a kit. I'm not sure if they carry axles for 8.25, but look at WWW.justdifferentials.com if they sell the shafts, I know for a fact that they would put together a kit for you.

So you had an 8.25 in your TJ? Or was it a Dana 35 you were breaking shafts in? If you were breaking shafts in an 8.25 on a regular basis i'd be interested to know what you were doing to break them.

No sorry I was breaking shafts in my D44, before I upgraded. I was trying to go up a waterfall at a park here in MO. I broke my rear ARB, the drivers side axle inside the housing, and the output shaft to the transmission all in one swoop. I did make it 3/4 the way up that sucker though. I was being stupid and trying stuff I had no real business doing.

Exactly, but it was sure fun trying it. Although it did take me like 2+ hours to get off that hill. I pretty much stay away from it now. I drive by it and stare, but I wont be doing that again until im running either a 60 or 14 bolt, and at least a 44 in the front. Even then I will still think twice about it. LOL
