Default Adding .75" coil spacers

Need some opinions on adding a .75 coil spacer with a 3.5 RE superflex lift and if it would cause any problems? Like needing something different for control arms, they are short ones that came with the lift? Needing an adjustable track bar or steering problems, shocks needs something done.

Here is why, I got a good deal on some 33x10.5 KM2's and only want to cut the fenders the least amount as possible. I was going to add a relocation bracket in the rear and shackles to provide a better ride and a little lift back there.
I already have a SYE on the transfer case so I don't think it will be much an issue in the rear.

I could also add a hockey puck to the bump stop extension that I already installed that came with the lift to try to keep the lcog.
I have searched for this a bit and haven't really found the info I was looking for.

Id did what you did with my RE 3.5" kit just with 1" spacers, kinda put the caster and pinion angle off and forsure brought on some front drive shaft vibes. So the end all is to get adjustable control arms and or correct length ones. You should already have an adjustable track bar, and if not Id look into getting one.

If you have shocks already for 3.5" lift I wouldnt worry about it.

Thanks for your info. From my lift now I already have front ds vibrations. I have been trying to decide how far to go with this. adjustable control arms, drop brackets will cost almost as much as long arms. I still want to re gear and lockers sometime this summer. When I did my lift I moved the tb mount over and that has worked so far, but probably need to get an adjustable one at some time.

There are quite a few things you need to do the very first is to buy a good HD dbl. adj. track bar. Then start cutting the fenders after removing the flares, without doing this you will not get the flex that you have paid for.

You can use coil spacers and for the best rear flex use "Boomerang Shackles" of the proper length required (this is how I lifted mine from 3" to 4 1/2"). You do need Adj. U/LCA's to setup the front differential properly as far as pinion angle for sure it sounds like you really need it. Drop brackets are not required if your planning on a long arm kit soon and a waste of money the rest can be resold when you do.

Do you have the correct wheels on now a 15x8" with 3 3/4"-4" of BS.

Or just do a Long Arm kit now and do it right the first time.

I would love to just do a longarm kit but funds need to be there to do that. I will start with an adj. track bar, I was thinking the jks, any opinions on that one?

As far as the boomerang shackle, that will lift my jeep if needed but won't fix the shackle angle. Mine is straight up and down right now. So I was thinking of starting with that to get the shackle angle right and then add a shackle if needed. How does that sound?

Go with Iron Rock Offroad double shear track bar. The boomerang style shackle will help with angle, but not as much as a shackle relocation setup. Most bolt on relocation boxes dont work well with stock shackles as they dont allow for full travel of it.

Ok I will look into the IRO track bar. So I will probably need a shackle either way if I go with the relocation brackets or not. But it will depend on the lift of the shackle then.
I have the lower fixed super flex arm on the front will I just need to add adjustable uppers or will I need to get the adjustable lowers also?

Pretty sure most of the no lift relocation brackets you can use the stock shackles. As for the control arms I found mine to be to short, a full set of adjustables would be ideal, but you could get by with just uppers.

I was looking at track bars and Serious offroad has a good deal on the RE double shear and bracket. It would be $50 cheaper, anybody have experience with the re track bars?

Im sure you would be happy with any double shear setup. Unless someone else has complaints on it?

Great minds think alike. This is what I have so far to install.

I only have a 3" lift though and I know better steering is going to be staring me in the face pretty soon. I just wanted to see if I can can hold out long enough to do a WJ knuck swap.

Nice! Those look like HD shackle relocation, are they? Are they the lift ones? What track bar are you going to use?

Those are the no lift Brackets with a 6" long shackle that is advertised as 1" lift over stock. I'm going to put the rear together first see how it sits then add the correct amount of spacer up front. I have a stock track bar with the with Skyjacker relocation bracket that came in the kit. Its suppose to be good for 2-4" of lift, but we will see. I hoping to be right around or just under 4". From what I understand RE springs run wicked tall. Check out TOM95YJ's stuff looks like your after a very similar setup to what he ran for a while.

Cut those fenders, takes a bit to work up the gumption, but you wont regret it.
