Default Add-a-circuit problem

I used the cigarette lighter fuse to add a fuse (fuse tap). So the problem is the cigarette lighter still turns off when I turn off the jeep but the heated seats I added using the fuse tap don't. What could be the cause of this?

Also I've tried it right side up upside down, fuses in both slots fuses in one spot fuses in neither. I've tried all I know to try.

What are you trying to accomplish? The cigarette lighter is off when the ignition is off

Are you sure you didn't tap into the wrong fuse slot?

My 2000 has two cigarette lighter jacks. One is switched. The other is always hot. If you tapped the circuit that is always hot, it would always be hot, and the mystery would be solved.

Try the other one.

Positive. When I pulled the fuse the cigarette lighter wouldn't work. And I know it's the right one because I have my CB hooked to it.
