Default 98xj injectors

Hey guys what are going to be my easiest to find and where should I look for upgraded fuel injectors?

I've looked through lots of posts but I just want clarification.

I've spent so much money and time on my jeep this couple months, between full time work and school I can't waste any time, I have to drive it for work all day.

Thanks bros.

From what I can gather in other threads, the neons are what ppl recomend but what else, what if I can't find those?

Also, please note that mine is a 98.

I keep seeing threads on 99 and up.

I finally found a bit more solid info in one of the other threads but if you got any solid tips for the 98 precisely then let me know, thanks.

I saw a pretty cool chart someone made.

Hey all the ones I keep seeing on eBay say for 99 and up, what the heck

From what I know the 98s use 703 injectors, and there's a member in the for sale section that sell them,

On my 98 I installed a set of 703s, 99 up intake & Ebay header at the same time. I saw a difference in power & picked up a few mpgs.

This explains the different vehicles that have an upgrade for your Jeep. Just have to make sure your 98 wasn't build late in the year. Then you'd need 784's, I think. It's just a connector difference, square (784) and rectangular (703).

I got mine from the guy 88commanche mentioned. Smooth upgrade. No seat of the pants difference but definitely running better. But who knows? Even wiping the top of the dash seems to add 20 hp

I used the ones in my signature. they work great. A lot of people clear out the junk yard of the neon injectors so they can get a little hard to find some times. The ones in my signature are from a 4.6 L mustang. Those are both of the part numbers from the injectors.

I ended up using 155-715's in my 98xj Sport. EV1 connectors and it was a direct swap. Just finished them so I can't tell if I am getting better fuel economy but it seems to run smoother especially at highway speeds. I believe these are from a Ford as well. I guess as with all things, YMMV.

Edit: It is worth noting that I tried some 19lb injectors first and they didn't work very well. They were also EV1 connectors but didn't supply enough pressure on the fuel rail apparently. It was my fault that I didn't do enough research but the problem seems to be fixed now with the 24lb injectors... here's a link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/UPGRADE-87-9...tXJRWT&vxp=mtr
