I have a 89 xj 231 t case that came stock with a d35. I recently did a 8.25 swap and swapped the driveshaft because the stock drive shaft ears were touching. So I swapped out the stock 35 and stock shaft. With the 8.25 and 8.25 shaft I have been leaking from the t case seal. I went to the auto store got a new out put shaft seal still leaking. Went back to the auto store we checked the computer the seal was for a 35. Nothing shows on the computer for a 89 w/231 t case for a 8.25. Has anyone done a 8.25 swap on a 89 with 231. I am looking for the correct output shaft seal or a part number for a seal for the 8.25 swap. Please an thanks.

Nop it was not leaking before just started leaking when I did swap thought I screwed up seal so I replaced seal and still leaking. The 35 shaft and 8.25 shaft are different diameters.
