Default 87 Cherokee new brakes or upgrades.

I’m rebuilding an 87 Cherokee. Rebuilding the Dana 30. Goin 1 piece shaft. Rotors hub pads and calipers are shot. Want to replace with new but only finding calipers for 90 and up. Can I use 90+ parts or do I have to change my knuckles? Staying with 15” wheels. I tried to pull up stuff on here but find everything but what I need to know. Also the internet is full of bla bla bla but no info on what I need to know. Will post 90 mount and work on pre 90? Wouldn’t mind upgrading but I’m not gonna spend gobs nor am I goin to a wrecking yard for wj or whatever. I just wanna know if these years will interchange. Thank you guys for your wisdom in advance. New to the jeep world and have figured out and learned a lot but some things elude me.

The calipers do not interchange. The early model, two-piece knuckles are nice because you can fit larger rotors by using a custom caliper mounting bracket. Brembo even makes kits. Rockauto.com carries multiple brands that will fit your '87.
