Default 8 inch lift.

Put long arms adjustable and 8 in over springs on my mj 4x4 . sterring is a little weird on ruts ect. What measurement can i use as base off rear axle.

Pics . info 8in drop arm ..new tie rod ends adjusted body axle bar. My question is about weel base measurment like 119.6 front to rear. Did the lift change it and how do i set it. Just a home mechanic

Ok so ya.... you arent going to like what people have to say past this point. Stock steering with a 8" pitman arm drop = bad. 8" lift and not a long arm = bad. 8" lift in general = bad. Drop that sucker down to 5-6", get a long arm kit, get a steering kit (cav fab comes to mind), add in a front axle truss, add in weld in frame stiffeners, extended brake lines, bump stops, probably doesnt have an aftermarket steering box brace, so add that too. Going to also assume there is no SYE on it either. Lift blocks? Hopefully not. I am sure I am missing a couple things but those items are what you need.

I have 8" of lift and it works well. But, you have to have some steering solutions. First, you have negative camber, axle tilted forward. That alone will give you weird steering. It needs to be 5° toward the back. As stated, long arms. Those short ones are the pits for that much lift. As far as drag link etc, you should go to a high steer or lower it. That much drop on the pitman will end up tearing the box off the frame.

Wj steering is mandatory on a lift this tall.

and yes the lift has shortend your wheel base.. likely nothing you can do about that with your current set up.

Read all your input so. All i asked was about the stock weelbase size 119.6 off utube . Set everything up using that as my basis and adjusted steering to sttock measurement. No buying no modes truck sreers and rides perfect.
Overboard input with no problem buying all kinds of parts and change all the work i had already done. By the way i had taken a two wheel drive to a 4x4 so changed all of my wheelbase.

going from 2wd doesnt and shouldnt change your wheelbase.
