I agree on the gears, , he might even want to do 4.88s too. And for the other question.

My 4 banger has a C8.25 with 4.10s factory.

I am running 33" x 10.50 x 15 Swampers with no issues.

Op: just swap the axles in and run 'em.
If you decide later that you don't like that ratio, or something goes bang,
grab a 8.8

Lmao, didnt buy it for good mpg for no means. But with the current gas prices.. Hard to justify killing my 26 mpg on a DD

Its actually 3.25 here, but thats just election time prices.. They always drop right before election day, then boost back up in a few months.. Probably see 4.00 a gallon here real soon. Especially with Sandy hitting, that'll give them another excuse.
Just cant justify going up from 31's on something i drive 60-70 miles 4 days out of the week in.. I need a play cherokee. And a car trailer.

Edit: and some money... LOTS and lots of money

Wow, the 93 cherokee I got my 4.10 dana 30 and 4.10 8.25 out of must have moved to colorado from canada?Trust me it's a 8.25, 4 cylinder also.

By the way I am running 34 inch swampers with my 4.10s. In low range there is a noticable diffrence. In 2 hi or 4 hi not so much. May go back to 33s or regear to 4.56 or more likely 4.88. Mine had 3.55s with the auto tranny.
