Exactly. For those 35s you won't see that much of a difference, unless you got a stick.

agreed. but only when in a re-gear situation. getting a dirt cheap 30 with 4.10's already in it and swapping out the rear for an axle with 4.10's already in it should be much cheaper than a full regear. which is why I support the axle swap idea

I'm gonna place bets that this 8.25 ain't a 8.25. 4.10's would of been swapped in.

I just did a build sheet search from Chrysler.
A 4 cylinder jeep only came with a d35 and 4.10's unless its a Canada sold jeep then a very rare option was 4.10's in a 8.25 with a 4 cylinder.

4.56's if it was a 97+ with a tow package.

Tow packages never came with a 4.56 gear in any axle let alone a 8.25. Lsd and 3.55 or maybe 3.73 4.10 in an factory 8.25 are rare. Swap a dana 44 rear regear front and rear to 4.88 and call it a day. Stock dana 30 will hold up. Go to you tube and type in my screen name xjseth look for the video on holy cross. All dana 30 stock everything. It sucked being undergeared sometimes but still held.
