703 Injectors HELP!
Hello thank you for reading this. I installed the 703 neon injectors in my 1996 jeep cherokee the install went good, but I have had some problems. These problems consist of when warm it shakes on idle and when coasting in gear, also the sound of the jeep got really groggy. Has this happened to anybody else thanks. Also Im not sure if this is the reason why, so during the install there was a step that included disconnecting the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator located on the manifold but on mine as you can see in the picture is plugged!? Is this the reason its acting up? Thanks a lot!

Did you reset your ecu after the install? I did so and my XJ ran a little different for a week or two then smoothed out. It ran a little rough I would say. Not bad just not smooth. Haven't seen better mpgs yet. But I have noticed more power, better response, starts better, and idles better.

Mine have definitely set in now as of this afternoon but I will know in the morning. And yes I did reset the computer. Do you think its weird there is a plug in the intake?

Not sure. I will need to take a look at mine. I have a 96. But can't remember if there is something there or if its plug. I will get back to you shortly.

Nope. Looks to me like a port for what we call an EFI at Toyota. It's like when you run sea foam through your engine. It's a cleaner that usually goes through the vacuum like from the brake booster. Goes into he intake manifold and into the engine. Cleans carbon off the pistons. It looks like mine has a "nipple" looking thing....or port. Which does have a rubber cap on it. But would be of uses running sea foam or an efi through. Although I have never seen another vehicle with one. So its really no use.
