Default 6.5 in lift

looking to install a 6.5 in la kit. will be running 33s. will be used for moderate off roading and mostly DD. Just wondering what else needs to be done when installing the lift. Ex-(steering box brace or stonger steering box?)...

Iron rock is still a radius arm setup like mentioned a million times yet they state its a 3 link. **** iro. Its just missing one upper control arm. Why are you stuck on these two setups? What's your budget?

With rough country, you get what you pay for, thats what I have installed and im not over impressed with the quality of it, but I cannot complain for the cost that it was. The only serious problem I have come across is the tie rod on the end of the adjustable track bar is complete garbage, not to mention the bar itself is small. I wheel mine on 33s and havent had any issues with the steering, not that I am really pushing it, but so far no problems. I do however plan to upgrade the tie rods anyway just for reassurance, my power steering pump doesnt seem to mind the 33s.

it is a 3 link. 3 link radius arm.
I would go with the IRO only because of the problems people seem to be having with the RC leafs.
I would probably run RC arms over the iron rock but not the leafs.
Dont misinterpret that. The IRO stuff is nice and great quality. I just think the RC arms are a little beefier, and have better mounting to the body

What kind of problems with RC leafs? I've got a pair of 6.5" leafs waiting to be installed.

A lot of people on here recently have received leafs that are too short. Its like they used a rearched stock spring. So the shackle ends up being pulled forward. Their solution is to sell you their relocation kit.
For all I know it could be resolved also.

if ya wanna get technical there are only 2 links, one of the links just has two mounting points on the axle. it in no way will perform like a properly built 3 link.

I'm not going to be a happy camper if this turns out to be true. Buddy of mine is running the same kit i am 6.5" RC LA and he has no problems i'm hoping i'm in his bunch.
