If you want to be technical that would make it a 4th link in reality. A link doesn't have to connect to the body to make it a link. It "links" 2 parts. In a radius arm its linking the upper axle mount to the lower arm. So the axle is linked in 3 places. Hence 3 link. So with a track bar it would be the 4th link. But by popular jeep terminology it is still a 3 link. But not a "true" 3 link.
its essentially a radius arm design where one side is wristed. (like what people do to the ford radius arms) they just had to figure out a way to mount it to a dana 30.
