Default 4" lift on a 2000 xj?

So my pal bought a 2000 xj and wants to put a mild lift on it, 4" is the plan....

Cheap route...?

Other route...?

Figured some of you guys could let me know how to make it happen.
Thought the rear could be taken care of with a soa, but how bout the front...?

Thanks in advance

And as far as the lift goes Cheap:either find one used that someone upgraded from or do a bastard pack in the rear but I forget what coils springs u can use up front

Other: not sure I always go cheap!

3 inch rough country kit, add spacers and shackles. Shouldn't be more than $450

No, no rough country, its junk. If you want to be cheap go Rustys or Zone. If you want something a little better but will cost a little more go Rubicon Express

What do you plan on doing for a track bar? How about the 90 degree shackle angle? Ive seen way too many people set their lift up that way and it turns out like junk every time

once you start going over 2 .5 inches its never cheap you will need a trac bar , shocks, and maybe control arms. I would recomend fully commiting to some sort of investment or trim you fenders and go right under 3 inches with 31s! it will still be boss
