I bought 2 cherokees for $800 one was a 89 limited and the other was a 91 Laredo with the 4L HO.
the 89 didn't come with a motor but the body was good. And the 91 was rusted out so my dad and I are planning on swapping the engine, tranny, transfer case from this one into the good jeep.
but realized today that it wasnt going to be just the engine, tranny and t-case we would be swapping over.
my question is what all will I need to swap over?
And if anyone has done this and has some advice or tips they could offer thatd be greatly appreciated.

 

do you have the 89 motor at all?

 

No engine in the 89. Everything but the engine

 

That puts a kink in the program.
Do you love automotive wiring adaptation?

 

Is all the wiring going to have to be swapped and pulled out? Like the wiring to the headlights and dome lights, etc?
