Default 3inch rc with 32 inch tires??

I have a 96 plan on getting a 3 inch rough country lift and I'm getting 265/70/17 kumho tires which I think are the same as 32 inch tires I'm already planning on trimming the fenders but I'm wondering if anybody is running a 3 inch rc lift with 32 inch tires and if it will
1 work out ok
2 what I might have to look out for
3 how far I'll have to trim my fenders
4 anything else I might need to no

They'll fit you will want aftermarket wheels or wheel spacers so the tires don't rub on control arms at full lock

My brother's with the rough country
3" lift and JK rubicon Wheels with new 32" tires. Just needed a good amount of fender trimming and cut and folding. Many people's threads to see that

The front you can trim as much as needed, just install the lift and flex out the suspension to see how much you need to cut. This is what my brother and I did with our XJ's(not our thread) https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f58/re...rite-up-94546/

Welcome to the forum. I'm sure you'll be fine with the setup you're going with and who knows, you might not even need to trim fenders. The older body styles have larger flares than the newer kind.

Also, here's a tip on searching the forum. Just go to Google, and type "site:cherokeeforum.com trimming fenders" or whatever you're searching for. The built-in search doesn't work.

I have a 3" RC kit and ran 33x12.5 tires for a while. I had trimmed and ran Napier precision flares. Plenty of room, and it looked great.

I run the RC 3'' kit and 31s at the moment, I have driven around on a buddies 35s with no issues, but I also didnt flex when running them, just city driving. Minimal trimming for now. Name: 20140509_152223_zpsfe6dc945.jpg

im running 33x12.5s on factory cast rims. flares are in stock location. 2.75" of lift in the front and 3.25" of lift in the rear. if i jump it or hit rail road tracks the tires hit flare in the rear and in the front. i have lost turning angle due to control arm rub. There is also a slight second where the side lugs catch the back of the front flares but the tire fits in the wheel well once it gets the side lugs past it. according to a quadratech chart the tires youre getting are equivalent to 31.6"x 10.7". Now i got a buddy whos running 31x10.5s on stock cast rims and he doesnt rub at all except on the control arms at full lock. he has his flares removed and has folded back the inner most lip behind the flares leaving a bevel around the wheel wells.

sorry for all the wordy explaination, theres just a lot of bad info out there on what actually fits and what happens with it. id recommend wheel spacers if youre on a budget or aftermarket rims with less back spacing than factory. it shouldnt take much to get them away from the control arms and thats the only issue i think you'll run into....if you were trying to flex tho...CHOP ER UP haha
