lift height doesn't equal more flex. if you think your 33s look to small and your happy with 33s offroad just drop your lift down low. that doesn't make any sense to get 35s just for street driving and use the 33s offroad. I could say so much more but ill save my breath cause I don't think its going to make a difference

how far do you drive. if your not going to wheel it why worry about 35s. i run 35s on my DD its doing ok. ax15 with 3.55 geared axles im getting 17 -18 mpg behaving myself but worse when i play.

I drive quite a bit. Fair mixture of road and highway.
you will defnitly want to regear for 35s.... i put 4.56s in when i had my 33s and i felt was a little on the low side for the streets, off road it was awesome. i just put 35s on, still has plenty of power on the streets and is decent offroad still. im running the d30 with 4340 shafts with a locker and a 29 spline 8.25 open with stock shafts. from what i was told the 1040h shafts are not but 10 percent stronger than a factory shaft.... so it wasnt worth it to me to spend the 250 bucks on them.
i got the bfg km2s and they are great on the road so far.

Install will depend on where you take it. It can cost anywhere from $100/axle to $500/axle.

Thanks I'll definitely check it out! I bought my chromoly from him. What gears would you recommended? I may run 33s for a little while doing the 35s but then again if I regear I should be good to wheel with 35s right?

So I checked out RWK. I'm pretty sure this is what I need. Doesn't look too bad.. A buddy of mine recently did his own gears, and I have a few friends who have experience with them.

I probably should check my current gears though, just to be on the safe side. How is driving/acceleration supposed to be on stock gears with 33s?

Found his post..
Also, with the proper gears.. How is driving 35s on the road and highway? A friend recently went to 35s but ran into a lot of issues with them and ended up going back to 33s. With the right equipment, is it really that different?

Don't have a need for overdrive on the highway after 70 but even my wife DD'd for months and we've never had an issue.

Umm.. I can't quite remember, but I think he was initially using a ZJ tie rod and the TREs blew, then he went to homemade OTK or something, but he was also on the stock XJ box. He's trying to warn me of the issues that he ran into, and I honestly don't want to run into them too lol.
