As the tittle says how have you done it? I have my spare laying flat, but i have the top portion of my rear seat unlatched. I was thinking of making some sort or relocation brackets for the upper seat catch which would make the seat back more vertical. Also had the idea of gutting the seat back in a half moon shape so the tire slips in a bit and gives extra room. Also how have you secured yours, mines a tight fit but if you hit any hard whoops or square edges you can hear/feel the wheel come off the ground.

I don't understand why he would do that over making a tire carrier for the rear. He just lost all of his cargo space and vision out the rear glass. The little space there isn't easy accessible with the tire in the way and all. So it seems.

As much as I agree with that at least you gotta give props to the guy for making an attempt to stop his tire from becoming a 65lb projectile in an accident. I myself will just mount the spare to my roof rack.
I have my 37 inch tire mounted baja style in my cargo area but I also have no back seat and redesigned my interior a little for it there are plenty of pictures of both in my build thread check out
