3.5 in lift with 31x10.5's and trimmed fenders, no added bumpstops. I used a small skill saw with a fine blade. Then I got some of that trim moulding that they sell at advanced auto to go over the metal edge and super glued it on. I trimmed the rear bumper caps too so they lined up, although it's hard to tell from the pics.
I thought it was going to be tough to trim them and make it look good, but there is actually a slight crease in the metal all the way around each fender, which made it extremely easy. Just pull off the stock plastic flares, and start cutting.
(The jeep is sitting on somewhat of a slope. I just realized that pic makes those 31's look huge.)

I ran 33x10.5 BFG A/T with 3.75BS on our 99 with a 3" lift from RCX using the bushwhacker cutout flares ( mainly to stay legal in PA). The only rubbing I had was on inner fender at the rear of front tires. Mostly during locked turns. A little more cutting and some screws to hold them in tight worked.
At tire shop chose 31s last minute and glad i did. Rubbed front end cap like crazy when turning into my driveway. Trimmed for now
