31's max unless you plan on, or have already trimmed. I barely stuffed 32's on my 4" lift untrimmed. Cut the fenders and now I've got plenty of room. Sometimes it's not always a great idea to get the biggest tire that'll fit. Having room to articulate is always good.

I have run 32's on a 3.5 in both a 10.50 and 11.50 with very minor rubbing on the 11.50's no trim.

I have 33s with a 3 inch lift but I trimed up the front and did the whole pie cut thing in the back. They don't rub in the front but can rub a little in the back because I haven't put the lift on back there yet but that's at like full flex.

You can do it. Just trim and bumpstop accordingly.

Yeah another thing to consider is the laws in your state. Some places require you to have flares that cover the tires and others (like florida) dont give a ****.

You will probably have to trim quite a bit. 3" here and cut my fenders quite a bit and still might rub. Just re-cut them the other day and haven't had time to test them.

The only way to tell is to do it. You MIGHT be able to drive it on the street w/o trimming but i cant say for sure.
