Which 31s to go with??
So I have my 3.5" lift ready to be put o and have been shopping around for some tires lately and really have taking a liking to the General Grabber Red Letter Tires but they seem kinda pricey anybody know a good place or website to get them at?? or should i go with something different, theres a set of BFG MtS on CL with two having 95% tread and the other two at 40% for 375, good deal or what?? kinda looking for opinons here since im fairly new to the jeep game..

The CL tires are too high. I bought my 33" mudkings with 90% tread off craigslist for $200. For new tires www.tirerack.com is a good one

I've read mickey tompson baja mtz radial and bfg km2's are supposedly really good. I got procomps mts I really like em. But my next set I'm either going with one of the above. I read a lot of good reviews and mtz's were the top mini mts in petersons 4wheel and off road.

mud kings are good. my dad has a set on his jeep that are 35s and they work great, they work so long that they have about 50 percent tread still and he bought them so long ago he got them new on rims for 200 bucks

i got some used 31/10.5/15 bfg ko's off of craigslist, $45 for 5 of 'em. they only had about 20% left, but i've gotten 5k out of 'em already. i've always liked the ko's, great for on & off-road. if u buy used from CL, then make sure that they don't have cracks in the sidewalls/dryrot, or that they haven't been patched/plugged/retreaded. if u buy used, just go to your local tire shop or dealership & see if u can score any "take-offs". as far as new tires, i've never been able to afford 'em, so go w/ what u know. consider your driving habits (% on/offroad) and where u live, & any advice from good sources.

I had the Goodyear Wrangler Authorities on my old XJ. They were something like $560 out the door. They are a mix between an AT and MT. I loved those tires.
