3 inch rc lift is a trac bar needed
So i have read up on this and some say yessome say no so i am at a standstill wether to buy one any help is greatly appreciated

I have a 3" and I got an adjustable trac bar. I felt better going that way than re-drilling the mount. All a matter of what you want and what you can afford. Use the search an you can find alot on this topic.

Yeah, depends on how you feel about drilling a new location because you WILL need to relocate it or extend it. If you can afford it, get a new one. If youre doing much wheeling it will be worth it in the long run

I would save the cash and redrill it. If it makes you feel better reinforce the mount.
I beefed and extended the mount to the point that I am running my stock track bar at about 6.5" of lift. I'm not saying its ideal, but it does work just fine, and flexes great.
