3 inch lift but I need 5
well I have a 3 inch rough country suspension lift on my xj. But I need to put 2 more inchs on it so! I need to know exactly what I should get for this! Idk if I should get a 2inch block lift or what. And then what type of arms and brake lines do I need? If you can give a list and options. Thanks!

If ur going up another 2 inches u might want too look into extending a couple of other things as well if not done already.
Like
Transfer drop kit
Pitman arm
Extended drive shafts
Slip yoke elimenater kit
An if u do spacers in the fron anblocks in the rear its a rough ride.
I would do
A add a leaf inthe rear
New u bolts
Longer shocks/at least 26 inch if not already
Shackles
New coil springs.

you also need to reinforce your steering box if you lift it to 5". if you want a good 5" lift youd probably wanna sell ur current coils and get ones that are for 5". also need adj control arms or a long arm kit. longer brakes lines or you could relocate them.

By getting a tcase drop you risk
1. Driveshaft falling off slip yoke.
2. Hard on motor mounts
3. Hard on transmission mounts.
Some people run them with no problems, but an SYE is better. Nothing to worry about.

It really depends on your trany/tcase/axle you have. I have the worst possible set up so i NEEDED a tc drop. And will NEED a SYE for anything over 3 inch lift. I have a aw4/np242/8.25
