Hey guys, i know there are a lot of these threads out there, but I searched and really couldn't find what I was looking for. Right Now I have a rough country series II lift kit. I currently have 31 inch tires. I am getting the bushwhacker cutout flares soon, and I wanted to know if i could fit 32 inch MT/R's next time i get tires? Thanks for your help.

I have 31/10.5/15 have minimal rubbing at full lock. I seriously have almost 7 inchs of space between the tire and flare and mines uncut. Knew I should have gotten bigger ones.
Edit: thats on 3.5" I know you said 3 but still

I have a 3" RC series II with 32" BFG KM2's with no trimming, and stock flares.
I will remove the plastic bumper caps eventually. But for right now its fine for driving to and from work.

To me, there are two things that will determine tire size. Serious trails require more articulation. Maximum articulation pushes the tires deep into the wheel wells. On my '98XJ with 5" lift a 35" tire would tear apart bushwacker cut outs.
Then, the bushwacker cut-outs are pretty easy to break and I know they will not fit 35s on my '98. However, there is a better brand of fender flare that will handle tough trails and still cover oversized tires. Here's my XJ running 33s
