recently ive added shims to my 99 8.25 with a np242 hack n tap sye. This has made the front shaft i was using in the rear, too long just barley, so im 99% im getting a new adams DS. Now before I do this my jeep is on a RE3.5 lift currently and I may go to 5.5 for 35s. If I added shackle relocation brackets instead of a new 5.5 leaf, would this effect the pinions distance from the tc any different between these two options?
Im mainly trying to ensure i dont order a drive shaft that will not fit if i lift more, i know adams has tons of slip travel.

Maybe slightly, but likely not enough to make a significant difference in optimal driveshaft length. The additional 2" of lift will make a bigger difference.
When's the lift happening? Your original shaft might work just fine with the additional lift.

undecided really, i have some coin thatll need to be spent on building long arms if im to lift anymore. the kicker is the 33s are dying faster than im wanting to pull the trigger on the LAs lol.
