ok I installed a RE 3.5 full leaf kit about a week ago, and got bad vibes. Yea, I know the SYE/DS is the solution to the vibe issues, I get that part.

But isnt a custom drive shaft just that, custom? Will I need a NEW shaft if I go up?

Or will the length I order for my 3.5 work with say 4.5-5 of lift.

I want to do a SYE/DS asap I cant take the vibes

Hope I dont sound like too much of a NOOB... but I AM

 

The new shaft will have a telescoping part like the front and will give you some extra length if needed. Unless you go another 5-6" it will be fine.

 

thanks man, I didnt know if 1-1.5' more lift was a deal breaker or not...
