I put 2 1/2 inch lift brackets on my rear, it made the shocks top out, so I put new shocks on the rear with a 24 1/2 inch extension, after adding the new shocks the truck lifted up even higher, and now I need to raise the front. Any suggestions on the best way to do it? I see these 3 inch coil spring lift Spacers, just looking for suggestions.

 

3" lift springs. I've used Superlift springs on a couple of my Jeeps and they had zero sagging after several years. I have them on my current XJ too. $100 a set.
p.s. You'll need longer sway bar links too.

 

Did you put the lift shackles (assuming you mean that and not blocks) on because you wanted to "fix" a sagging rear end, or because you wanted to lift it?

 

Same difference either way. It's now lifted 3" in the rear. He needs new springs.

 

I had a sagging rear end, but since then I replace the leaf springs and left the 2 1/2 inch lift on it and I replace the shocks to a longer ones

 

Fortunately before the rear end I put new springs on the front, but they were the standard ones

 

not really. if the 3 inch shackle was added to sagging springs, the lift amount netted over stock would not be 3 inches. Useful info to ask.

 

 

What do you mean by 'lift brackets' ? a shackle relocation kit, blocks, or longer shackles ?

What do you mean by 'shocks top out" ? A 2 1/2" lift should not affect shocks unless you are really dropping a wheel into a hole

What do you mean by 'after adding the new shocks the truck lifted up even higher' ? The only way shocks lift a vehicle is if they are either air shocks pumped up, or too long.........

 

Some people think shocks affect ride height. It appears some did affect ride height hopefully it wasn't the shocks. If it was shocks it would ride like a brick.
