Default 2000 cherokee sport leafs

Im tring to put the shackles on my rig but i cant get old ones off. Whats the easiest way to remove?

Soak them with penetrating oil. Then use a lot of elbow grease. A long pry bar helps to get them moving.

How long? And how much would be under doing it? I sprayed them down once should i do again?

The more you let them set the better, but they are still going to be tight. Sometimes it will be rusted to the sleeve inside the bushings. You just have to stick with it and keep working it. Anti- seize is your friend when you go back together. Like I say you may need a long breaker bar(sorry I said pry bar in the first).

Cheater pipe on breaker bar best bet .

You just need a breaker bar and a cheater pipe and keep turning its gunna take a while but they'll go

just put a lift on my 2001 xj had to use a lot of heat with a torch and lota of force/ good luck

After soaking over night with liquid wrench was 100% easier! Front will soak for at least 2 days before instal also i would like to know how long should my bump stomp stops i should use with 15compressed 25 extended with 3" lift im going with either rustys or skyjacker shocks
