-lower/upper contol arms?
-SYE kit?
-can i just unbolt my brake lines?
-longer drive shaft?

So you wanna net 5 inches of lift? If so you will need new control arms. If you get an SYE (which I recommend), you will not need a tcase drop. You will need new shocks. I'm not sure if unbolting the brake lines will work. And i'm like 99% sure you will need a new rear drive shaft with the SYE, but not sure about the front DS with the 5 inch lift.

Hope this helps

Slip yoke eliminator, it's the best way to kill death wobble, a tcase drop is a cheap but less reliable way

Death wobble?? No. Death wobble is when you generally have a bigger lift and say 33" tires and you go over a bump at a high speed and your rig starts wobbling out of control (something completly different).. A sye combined with a cv drive shaft can fix your driveline vibrations. A transfer case drop can also fix them, even though it is not the most perminant way. I personally have a 1" tcase drop with my 3" lift and it works fine.

Lol, never feel stupid, I remember when I first saw "SYE", and I was like "WTF".

If you look under you jeep and where the rear drive shaft connects to your transfer case, you will see this think that looks like a rubber spring. That is called your slip yoke, it allows for a little give when your rear axel suddenly pops up (hitting a bump, offroading, running over the neighbors cat). Cuz when your rear axel moves up, it forces the drive shift forward into the tcase, and this helps not to destroy your tcase.

A slip yoke eliminator eliminates the slip yoke. And as they said, it gets rid of driveline vibes.
