Default 1999 Cherokee, seemingly on it's last leg

i'm the very proud owner of a '99 XJ Classic with a 5 1/2" short arm lift and 33"ers on 17" rims, all black, but thats beside the point. it has just under 173,000 miles on it, but still runs fairly well. the idle is smooth, but it's not the same 'ol girl she used to be. i'm considering a 4.7 big bore kit, but i dont know any shops in the San Diego area. any suggestions? if anyone has any other "tune-up" ideas, please let me in on your secret!

I don't know that I would say your jeep is on it's last legs if its got around 173,000 miles on it. If it has the four litre engine it'll go at least 300,000.
