short arm vs. long arm
I have an iron rock offroad 5.5 inch lift with short arms should I upgrade to long arms? This is my DD and I wheel only once and a while.

For a DD I would say get Control Arm drop brackets. You get the semi stock street ride and better handling than LongArms and off road almost as much flex as long arms.

5.5 is a big lift on short arms with out drop brackets. Long arms ride and flex better. For the comment they flex about the same its not true long arms set up right out flex any short arm system. But for a DD mall crawler (you said you dont wheel often) just get drop brackets. Unless you start wheeling more its pointless to run long arms just on the street.

Long arms do ride better than stock.... But short arms offer better handling. So you have to compromise on a DD, Street vs Dirt. Drops correct the suspension geometry changes due to lifting, as do Long Arms, allowing you to get back close to stock ride.
