How Much money you want to spend doing it???? Ranges from $25 for some autopals to Hundreds of dollars for HID or other high output lighting.

for that price range, upgrade to a heavy duty headlight wiring harness, get a pair of H4 housings, and some 55 watt halogen bulbs. If you want the HID look, you can get some "hyperwhite" bulbs.

Here's some links:
H4 Housings- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/7X6-C...Q5fAccessories

HD Wiring Harness- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HEAVY...item5ad78f84ca

H4 Halogen Ion Bulbs- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Halog...item3cb3fef1d4

All together, the setup should only cost you: $44.72
Not a bad deal for a brand new headlight setup.

I'm running a bi-xenon projector HID setup, but it's about $300 which is a little on the expensive side lol.

I put sylvania silverstars in my '92. They didn't make a giant difference but they were brighter, whiter, and had a more precise pattern. I've had mine a few years now and they were $50 then.

Check your voltage at the headlight sockets and compare to battery voltage. If you're seeing 2+ volt drop, then upgrading the harness is worthwhile. My '96 shows less than 1v drop.

The Sylvania Silverstars are likely the brightest, whitest sealed beams DOT approved, and are about $25 each at Autozone.

I've gone the ECE spec (Delta) H4 housing route and upgraded to PIAA bulbs besides, and the bulbs were as much as or more than the Silverstars. I've also mounted a pair of PIAA 520ATPs and downgraded the bulbs from 85W to 55W (85s were ridiculously bright) and have them aimed to enhance my low beams.

Well, an upgraded H4 harness itself, should help a LOT.
Otherwise, I also recommend IPF H4 housings and whatever bulbs you want.

The wirin harness you listed is just the h4 plugs correct? To have a full wiring harness with relays and plugs and battery terminal connectors you would need something like the eautoworks ones i think. Correct me if i am wrong but that is my impression on the upgraded wiring harness idea.

Also.... Are there any other companies that make the upgraded wiring harnesses for H4s?

I would recomend the IPF housings. This will allow you to change just the bulbs if/when they burn out. I would recomend their bulbs as well, but I don't think it's worth using anything more than a 55 watt bulb. It's not fair to other drivers to use higher power than that (and usually illegal). For the money and time involved in upgrading the harness and high wattage bulbs (or HID): invest in some nice fog/driving lights like a 686 IPF. Then when you need more light, just flip the switch. You can wire in a nice set of fog/driving lights to the factory switch and wiring.

I've done this but with Hella housings... love it... keeps the stock sealed beam design but can easily swap bulbs... great system over stock and nice n cheap.. paid about 90ish out the door w the hella housings and h4 piaa bulbs... cost was all in the 60$ bulbs but mmmm the piaas are worth it... had them running for 2+ years now and never burnt out yet... still as bright as when I bought them

If you're going to put almost $100 into a lighting system, why not just go with HIDs and have a lot better of a result?

yeah that would be the right way to do an upgraded harness. Relays and larger gauge wiring as well as a direct connection to the battery, all help distribute more power.
