I got a set of projector headlights with 6000k hid lights. 35watt. Best investment ive made by far, i can see so great at night, rain, fog, nothing these cant handle. Total was 84 shipped. And im not one of those jerks who have there hids aimed in your face, there down low and i can still see great. Havent had any cars flash me yet. Only other xj owners asking about them my kit came with an upgraded heat resiatant harness.

I had those, they're not real projectors. They're just a glass lens sitting in front of the bulb in a traditional reflector housing. You need to retrofit a real set of projectors in there like I did.

Haha yeah I hear ya. They get the job done, but when you're ready and have the money you should get some real projectors. Theyre the best thing I've done for my lighting

The job was pretty easy with the right tools.
I just took the housings apart with a heat gun to melt the adhesive holding the glass lens on, cut the back open with a dremel, removed the fake projector and put the real projectors in.
The projectors I used are Morimoto Mini bi xenons. I mounted them to the housing using screws and high temp silicone.

That's really all the modding you gotta do to the housings.

How did you hold the new projectors in place?
