1987 2 door lift
Finally tired of the OEM grandpa stance. Going to be installing a DPG 2.5" ultimate lift on the XJ. Stay tuned for updates.

She was in Cali for the majority of her life and from what i can tell that was with one owner. I purchased from a guy in Rhode Island who got her from the POs estate. I have 140k miles on her now and she is my DD. Been around cars all my life and worked for a large antique car restoration shop for 20+ years. No plans on tearing her up or making a trail rig. Just doing a simple 2.5 inch lift from DPG offroad.

I did not mean to be insulting.....face value.
For nearly 2 years I drove the SE buying XJs for reasale, studied many a pic prior to the drive.
Nothing worse than driving 7-8 hours away only to find the XJ was not as presented in a pic.
Those finds are very few and far between, most guys here do not appreciate that and would think nothing of cutting those fenders.......that is what I was getting at.

I wish my rockers were that good
Mine now has about a three inch hole right at the rear, but I know where it came from. On mine the roof leaks at the points where the roof rails mount and when snow sits on top and melts it floods the compartment under the back seat. The Original owner let it set for about 7 years so no telling how much water sat there But I believe I can fix it without too much trouble.
If mine looked as good as yours I would definitely not do anything more than a little lift. Mine I haven't decided if I will try to restore it to original, or make a light trail rig out of it since it will take about the same amount of money either way. I am kinda waiting to see how yours turns out before I jump in either way
