Default 1" spacers, think i MESSED up!

Sorry about the exaggeration on the title, but I think I did mess up. Im trying to level out my 2000 XJ and I measured from ground to rocker panel, 20" in front of front door, and 21" right behind back door (4 door jeep). SO i figured a 1" coil spacer would level it out, only I didnt stop to research IF it will actually lift it 1" or less...? I didnt find much about cherokees so can anyone who has done this and measured give me a heads up.

what?

a spacer that measures 1", will give you a 1" lift on the front end.

Sorry my post was a little over worded. That's all I'm trying to make sure of, if I'll get 1" of lift or slightly less due to spacer possibly getting compressed.

your spacer shouldn't compress.
