Zone makes a great budget lift, but let me eliminate a point of confusion here: made by BDS or not, the reason Zone is so cheap in comparison is because the parts are made chintzier than BDS parts are. So let's not let Zone being made by a subset of BDS be your selling point.
I've heard good things about using Rusty's kit as a budget kit too, but same with Rough Country. On the other hand, lots of people **** on Rough Country for their lower quality parts, so I won't even touch that.
But I ran Rough Country for 3 years with no major problems. I replaced the leaf springs 3x because the rust from the leafs rubbing each other due to the lack of any insulating spacers was unbelievable, but they were free replacements from the company, so it was no skin off my back. The springs still did their job throughout the life of owning my Cherokee and would have continued to do so rusty or not. But since I was OCD, I went ahead and replaced them anyway.
So end of story, Zone is pretty good, but I hate their shocks. The plastic-looking body looks so gaudy. I think I'd put in some shiny Bilsteins or Fox shocks if you went that route, and the lift would turn out looking pretty good in addition to functioning like a champ.

and you have no idea if your leaf packs would have continued to survive. You replaced them 3 times in 3 years. For all you know they could have failed the next month haha. Of course some have good returns on RC, but then again alot despise them.

Sold them to my buddy who still uses them today. The looks don't bother him like they did me.
