brush gaurd, winch, lots of ammo and mesh for the windows, eventually my xj will be totalled out and ill have to get a new set of wheels, thats when i drive my 86 f250 with 37's and a 6 inch lift and the old trusty no electronics 6.9 idi diesel baby, ( f250s already done haha)

and there will neve be a "real zombie apco" they say tho , with all the engineering the closest we will get to that is like a a plague with rabies, like engineered rabies, and they will pretty much be 28 days later style ones

If a zombie apocalypse were to happen, it would be from an engineered bio weapon. most likely a cross between rabies and the flu or the common cold to make it airborne. An infected person would still have some grasp on reality and know how to drive a car, shoot a gun, open a door etc. The most important thing you could do to prepare would be to Install a cabin air purifier to keep from breathing in infected air. Would be best to have oxygen masks as well in case a window breaks or you to roll it down to shoot a weapon. Small groups would be best so that it would be easier to identify an infected individual. Prisons may not be the best places to go. The close, confined quarters would cause the disease to run rampant, wardens would probably release prisoners to give them a fighting chance of escaping it. Escaping to the backwoods would best, If that's not possible a school building with electronically sealing doors and few windows would also be fine.

Lol the only reason its well thought out is because it's one of my biggest fears. That being said I'm not too worried, they already have rabies vaccines for dogs, can't be that hard to make one for humans. So even if there was an outbreak, it wouldn't be too long before the uninfected were safe. Until then I would go pick up some of this

 

Prisons would he safe as long as you could close them off and you knew no one was inside.

I'd make my was to cali and go to Alcatraz. Find a boat and get food and stuff to live. Or live on fish. I'd feel safer there than I would on land.

Or since I live near a lake. Go there and find a large boat and a dock with a house on it and move it to the middle.

 

I would head to the desert first, then make my way north, the flu or cold or any airborne disease wont last long in a hot dry climate, wait it out till the life span of the disease passes n move to Florida or south america

 

I would just go chill in antartica for a lil...take my jeep and husky

How about this

 

I would first get rid of the gas motor and put in a diesel and run it off vegtable oil(fast food joints every where) then id give it bumpers and skid plates put a saw on a turret on the roof with a cage around it ditch the rear windows and replace with sheetmetal same with front but give it sliders to open. I would also set up a compressed gun to shoot stakes into the ground from bottom of jeep incase they try to tip me over. Put some run flats and dana 60's under her have 3 optima red tops to power all my lights and electronics. Have a ton of map books. Id build a base camp that is surrounded by 53' trailers with the axels removed and dig moat if you will in front of it with a draw bridge which will eliminate most chances of them getting in. Ive had alot of time to think about this and my main weapon would probly be a .22 cause it will kill the zombie its not loud and youll deffinetly find plenty of ammo and be able to reload easily. Would also carry and assult rifle and have atleast 2 handguns and a knife on me at all times
