the vehicle in the movie was an 83 toyota pickup with a shell on the bed plus the honda was launched of the tow truck so it was moving towards the moving veh then they collided causing the surf board to shoot off and decapitate the driver of the other veh. they did it with the other veh not moving only the veh with the surf board so they didn't replicate the scene very well they had the principle but not the physical aspect correct

You know when you drive a 5-speed XJ when every junkyard in your area has never even herd of the gear ratio 3.07 and they deny its exsistance when asked about it.

[QUOTE=johnybsic;747645]You know you drive an XJ when your driver's door goes "Crick,Crunch,Pop"
my door used to do that...it doesnt anymore...but then again it doesnt stay open when i park facing up hills either...but overall im happy cause i can just walk away and the door closes itself.
you know you drive an xj when you have a vehicle that only weighs 3500 pounds, but always gets lower then 14 or 15 mpg average.
when you continually impress people with what they thought was junk
when people ask you what you want for xmas, you rattle off a list of stuff for the xj
when it rides like garbage, but you still love driving it, and miss it when you cant drive it
you know you drive an older xj when your passenger side rear window rolls up and down really slowly...anyone else?
when you go to the junkyard, look at all the exhaust down pipes, and almost every one is crushed behind the flange by the manifold
when every time you get out of the car after driving it, you can still smell the pine barrens mud burning on your exhaust and its strangely comforting haha.

You know you drive an XJ when you spin out, hit a ditch, drive out of it and everything inside the XJ is still in place.
Happened this afternoon coming back from hunting. Even my brother's Kit Kat bars didn't slide off the shelf under the glove compartment. And his MP3 player stayed nestled on the center console.

sorry if any of these are in here but let me try lol
you know you drive a xj when...
u use the top of your cb antenna to find it in a crowded parking lot.
you make your wife sell her audi for cheap so you can buy her an xj.
you try to drive over any rock or bark dust pile u see.
your head liner has sagged and the foam under it looks alot better
fender trimming also counts as weight reduction!
you dont use your ebrake due to how sticky it is from all the spilled soda's!
