You know you drive an XJ when you're convinced she has a mind of her own, has good days and bad days, and gets jealous just like most girls.

EVERY single time my girlfriend rides in the Jeep, something goes wrong while she's in it or sometime soon after. The first time I took my GF wheeling in it, the vacuum motor for the disconnect stopped working and then I broke a u-joint on my rear axle, meaning I had to show the Jeep love in a cold drizzle at 11pm two nights later. More recently the gf and I took the Jeep somewhere and not two days after my fuel pump got a clog in it.

 

I did an oil change and bumped my oil presure switch while putting on the new filter and it snapped. Damn plastic bonded to metal

 

When you see a d ring hitch on a chevy truck and decide you can one up him buy building your own

 

You know you drive an xj when there are more parts held together by duct tape, zip ties, and dreams than actual nuts and bolts

 

You Know You Drive An XJ When you got to Canada fishing for two weeks, miss her like crazy, come back and pray she isn't upset and actually starts! (which she did!)

 

You know you drive an XJ when you go to Idaho for a month and have your roomate start her every couple days just to let her know she hasnt been dumped.

 

You know you drive an XJ when You replace your shock bolts almost as often as your shocks.

You know you drive an XJ when your friends remember you complex unite by the pile of dirt in front of the garage and the over spray on the curb

I think mine's a lesbian...she stops smelling, smoking, and making weird noises when a lady jumps in! She didn't even leak on the driveway last time!!
